Chronology of cameras Argus

Argus followed Kodak into the new adventure of the 126 format, using relatively simple cameras manufactured by Balda or more ambitious cameras made by Mamiya.

This Instant Load 270 model, also manufactured in Japan, falls into the more ambitious category. It features a CdS cell for exposure control. A pair of aperture and shutter speed values are displayed in the viewfinder, along with a symbol indication of the focusing distance.

Like most high-end cameras that used the 126 cartridge, it didn't achieve the expected success and was withdrawn from the market as early as 1967.
